The residents of EGR will have the opportunity on 2/22/05 to VOTE on whether 5,6, and 7 story buildings belong in East.
Voting against Jade Pig’s high-rise development can mean many different things to different people:
You think our town’s charming character should not be compromised.
You are distressed with the process.
You worry about the increased traffic.
You consider the long-term perspective more important than just doing anything to be rid of the dirt lot.
You realize that the alleged tax benefits are not worth the price our community is paying.
You fear that this development will set a precedent, and other high-rise buildings will inevitably follow.
Whatever your reasons…
A vote against the Jade Pig development is a vote against overdevelopment and for Responsible Growth!!
